A leg spinner, Ravi Bishnoi first impressed at the U19 Cricket World Cup in 2020, where he finished as the tournament’s highest wicket-taker. The same year, Bishnoi made his TATA IPL debut for PBKS, picking 12 wickets in 14 matches. He replicated a similar performance in the following season, picking 12 wickets in 9 matches. In 2022, Bishnoi was acquired by LSG and has picked up 48 wickets across the following four seasons, playing a key role as the franchise made it to the playoffs twice in that span. His consistent performances across the first three seasons also saw him make his international debut in 2022. Bishnoi bowls a bit flatter and faster than traditional leg-spinners, which makes it tough for the batters to pick and score against him and possesses the lethal wrong’un, which can bamboozle the batters. The leg-spinner, who has represented India in both ODIs and T20Is, was released by LSG and acquired by Rajasthan Royals for INR 7.2 crore ahead of IPL 2026.
